Take Me Out To The Ball Game
Daddy's favorite team the Texas Rangers were playing the Baltimore Oriels a few weeks ago so we headed up to Baltimore for the game.
We were high up in the third level, but it was a great view and we had a really good time! There weren't too many people there so Parker could run around a lot and enjoy some baseball food!
Silly "Cheese" Photo! He made it through the whole game and then even stayed awake the whole way home. He had such a great time that he keeps asking to go to a baseball game! I am sure we can make a trip to the Washington Nationals once or twice this season.

Pirate Ship
Last summer Parker loved to play with Joselyn's water table. So I was really excited when I found a great deal on this great Pirate Ship water table for the new house!
It has a lot of cool things to play with and lots of opportunities to splash and dump!
We have been having some great weather so almost every afternoon finds Parker outside with his water table!

First Cheeseburger
Parker had not yet ventured into the wild world of cheeseburgers, but that all changed when we made our way to Five Guys Burgers and Fries. I had never experienced the culinary wonders of Five Guys, but Ben had and wanted to share the experience.
We decided that the occasion should also include Parker's first cheeseburger so we ordered him one - I had my doubts...
He started by enjoying quite a few of the 5 Guys Fries, but we eventually got him to try the burger by showing him how to dip it in ketchup...
Next thing we knew he had taken down about 3/4 of the burger! Apparently we have found a new special treat! Yum yum!

Car Snacks
The simple car snacks just aren't doing it anymore. So, before we head to school (the gym) each morning Parker decides what he would like to take as a snack. If we have bananas in the house that is the odds-on favorite.

Picasso
Another advantage of the new big back yard is that Parker can paint outside at his easel!
He also decided that painting does not require shoes - it is much more "artisitic" barefoot!

Metro Rides
Parker loves to ride the DC Metro. He calls it the "Choo Choo like Gordon" (a Thomas the train reference for any of you not hanging out with 2 year olds regularly).
He gets to sit like a big boy in the Metro chair!
He also likes to sit with Daddy to see everything out the window (before we go in the BIG tunnel)! I am sure there are LOTS of Metro rides in his future.

Car Wash
One of the best things about our new location is lots of time with Parker's "Aunt" Andrea! She even comes over to take advantage of the opportunity to wash her car!
Parker loves to help wash cars - and get dirty in the process!
Daddy even showed Parker how to dry off the truck! Lots of outside fun!

Farmer's Market
Silver Spring has a great Farmer's Market on Saturday and Sunday. We have gone a few times now and it really is a great place to spend Saturday morning.
Parker loves that one of the booths has fresh, healthy cookies so he gets a cookie when we go to the market - it is usually one of our first stops!
There is also a guy who sells his own flavored kettle corn. I usually don't like kettle corn, but this stuff is the perfect sweet/salty balance. Parker loved it too! And don't worry, we also load up on fruits and vegetables at the market!
Shopping at the Farmer's Market can make you REALLY tired!

Parker's Park
Our new house in Maryland has a great backyard and play structure! Parker was so excited the first day that he didn't want to come inside! He now calls it "Parker's Park" and we spend as much time out there as possible.
