April has been designated the Month of the Military Child. In honor of that, military posts around the world have special programs all month long to honor military children. On Friday, Parker and a few of his friends participated in Toddler Olympics. It was a really fun time with a lot of activities in the gym. Here are some of his "Olympic Events".

He was supposed to run with this torch - he chose to sit and play with it.
We are not quite adventurous enough yet to climb through tunnels, but he did try to climb ON the tunnel...

Mommy thought it was hilarious to put these milk jugs on my head - I just wanted to stack them.
There were many kinds of balls at the Olympics - I found them all and tested each one individually.
He tried out bowling - but was more interested in knocking the pins down himself than throwing the ball at them.
We haven't quite learned the fine art of kicking a soccer ball, but climbing in the goal was fun.
I did really well at putting the rings on the cones, but there was an interesting obstacle in this challenge: my friend Joselyn kept stealing the rings because she thought they were bracelets!

This nice lady tried to teach me to take the ball from the full basket and fill the empty one - I told her I was much more interested in taking the ball and running away from her!

This ball was great - easy to carry and fun to throw!
Don't know how to swing a bat, but I know how to bang it on the floor!

Very tired boy, time to go home. But excited to try the Olympics again next year!

Good job, Parker! It looks like you had a great time and were a great sport! I'm so proud that you chose to wear your OSU garb...I'm certain that the other participants were quite impressed...An OSU Beaver? Right here at Fort Sill, Oklahoma?
