Family Fun Run

While the weather was still nice Ben and I decided to take a family run out to Geronimo's grave on post. It is about 5 miles round trip so we decided to take a break at our half-way point to let Parker out to play.

Picking up (and throwing) rocks is a favorite pass-time in this stage.

Parker isn't so sure about shoulder rides, it is really high up there - it only took a minute before he was asking for "down".

After running back a ways we stopped at a park so Parker could play some more. First he wanted to swing...

Then Daddy showed him how cool it is on the big boy swings - if you ever want a good workout, hold a toddler while swinging...

All-in-all it was a great family day together enjoying the last of the nice warm weather!
