Parker and his buddy Joselyn got to head to the OKC Zoo for a date last week. The weather was gorgeous so us mommies thought it was the perfect Zoo day! It was amazing to see how much more the kids interacted with the animals than they did a year ago!

Parker and his date - they love to hold hands when they walk - we did bring the strollers, but they spent most of the time walking together to get the full effect!
Almost every exhibit also has an animal statue to climb on - here the kids wanted to ride the baby Rhino - luckily we were able to convince Joselyn this time that the animals were not real.

The highlight of the day was probably the kids getting to see the Elephant show. The little baby elephant was only 9 weeks old when we last saw him and now he is MUCH bigger! The elephants could do all sorts of tricks and have a HUGE exhibit to run around in. Parker has been talking about the elephants every day since! I am sure we will have to make the DC Zoo a regular visiting spot after we move.
