Day 2 of Shower in a box we opened some more gifts from family friends of the Culver's. The first gifts we opened were from Doug and Cheryl Baxter. The Baxter's gave us some adorable Pooh washcloths, a blanket, some Pooh socks, a Pooh hat with booties (which I am so excited about because I have a few other hats with ears on them - our kid has a high probability of holding this against me when he/she is older), and also some car seat chimes (Ben says the
Baxters know that he likes to make noise so his kid will be the same).
The second gift we opened was from Culver family friends Carl and Jenny Solomon. They enclosed a note in the box for us: "Congratulations to 2 wonderful people. You will be wonderful parents." They gave us one of my favorite books from my childhood
Pat the Bunny as well as a Target gift card (Ben and I will
defiantly be making a run up to the
OKC Target around the end of January!).
