Mom wanted to make sure that we opened as many of the gifts from Culver family and friends as we could while Dave and Gayle were with us for Christmas. So, on day 3 we opened a gift from Culver family friends Jon and Joleyne Lea. The Leas included a note for us in the numbered box: "Hi! The time is near for you to celebrate your new bundle of Joy! May God Bless you and your new little one, and for all the work you do and sacrifices you make for our country. Best wishes!" The Leas gift to Baby Culver was a mattress pad for the crib, some adorable recieving blankets, some chimes for the car seat, and some really cute bath squirt toys (I told Ben that I registered for these to allow him some fun when he gave the baby a bath).
