Ben and I cannot resist a trip to the beach when we go to Oregon. I think we lived in Texas and Oklahoma long enough to truly appreciate a real beach. So, we took a day trip to Cannon Beach while we were in Oregon. Parker had an AMAZING time!
When we first arrived Parker just wanted to sit and play with his bulldozer at the first patch of sand. We convinced him that the sand got a lot better (with less rocks and sticks) further down the beach.
Grandma tracked down a bucket from Mo's Restaurant (awesome clam chowder in case you were wondering) and Daddy showed Parker all about the art of sand castles...
After lunch (did I mention Mo's? Parker took down quite a bit of clam chowder himself) Parker changed into his swimsuit and played in the water some more. He loved chasing waves with Daddy!
