Sunday Doughnuts
Once Baby Sister comes Mommy may have to close her Pinterest account. It shows her amazing things like how to make quick, easy, delicious homemade doughnuts!
Today we tried out a recipe that involved cutting the middle out of canned Buttermilk Biscuits - frying them - and then adding a chocolate glaze.
Parker's favorite were the doughnut "holes" that we created because I used a little star cookie cutter to cut the middle of the doughnuts. He at them with some strawberries, but he was a HUGE fan of the star doughnuts...
Mommy (and baby sister) also enjoyed the doughnuts very much! They were so crispy but doughy and delicious! Daddy enjoyed his fair share as well - which resulted in the declaration that he was taking Parker in the BOB on a run down to the park that is about 3.5 miles away. Mommy is a bit past the "running" time of the pregnancy, so I met them there in the car after cleaning the house and taking a shower. Great Sunday Morning!
