Thankful Day 2

Thankful Day Two is all about Family Fun! Every morning it is guaranteed that the first question out of Parker's mouth is "What are we going to do today?" followed shortly by "Does Daddy have to go to work?". So on the fabulous days when Daddy does not have to go to work we like to let Parker help pick something fun to do. On Saturday he asked if we could go to the Train Park and have a picnic. Of course, with such a simple request we were happy to oblige.
Daddy decided to take the opportunity to go on a nice long run, so he met us at the park. The train wasn't running on Saturday, but we got in a lot of fun at the slides, the sand pit, and the spider web before heading to a picnic table for lunch. Parker and Daddy fed the squirrels some Veggie Straws - the squirrels were big fans of that special treat.

After our family picnic we went back to the playground for a little more play before everyone headed home for a nap!

I am so very Thankful that we take the time to go on our fun family adventures, and that our children find the true joy in a day at the park with a picnic.
