Today we had a note included in our numbered box from Baby Culver's Ma Pat: "While we try to teach our children all abou tlife, our children teach us what life is all about. Dear BBC, Your mommy is one of the kindest, most giving people that I know. And your daddy is the most courageous. With your mommy's kindness and your daddy's strength you will surely be able to teach us what life is all about. Love, Ma Pat". Yes, of course I cried - I am pregnant for goodness sakes!
After reading the note and seeing the size of the package I had a pretty good idea what Ma Pat had sent. One of Ma Pat's favorite children's books is The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein - she even sent me off to college with a copy! We opened it up and I even sat there on the couch and read through the whole story - it really is a great book for us kids of any age!
