Kentucky Railway Museum

Parker has been a GREAT traveler the last few days on our trip NE towards Washington DC. So, when we saw that the Kentucky Railway Museum was on our way to our hotel we knew we HAD to stop! It was a great little museum - especially since it was practically underwater during some flooding in 2010!

Parker made a beeline for the back of the main exhibit room and what did he find?

That's right - THREE Thomas the Tank Engine play tables! Poor kid was overwhelmed with Thomas!

If you look close you can see his little mouth saying "Chugga Chugga Choo Choo!"

Parker was even kind enough to put the trains back in the station when he left. The only way we got him to leave the play area was to promise a new Thomas Friend when we left (from the gift store stocked with Thomas of course!).

With Daddy up on the "big trains".

Look how little I am compared to those BIG wheels!

In case you notice the sign on the right - remember that a 2 year-old can't read...
