Man Work - Wood Chopping

Now that Spring is warming up our little area of Maryland, often our weekends involve Ben and Parker doing "Man Chores".

Our neighbor Andrew has an uncle just outside of town who was having some trees removed from his property. So, Andrew and Ben decided to take advantage of the opportunity and to stock up on some firewood for next year. They have spent two whole Saturdays so far out there cutting up trees and splitting logs to bring home and stack in the yard.
Parker likes to help load the logs into the wheel barrow to stack up in the back of the yard.

Some of them are really big though, so they need some help from Daddy.

Once they are all loaded up it is time for a ride in the wheelbarrow. This doesn't give Mommy anxiety at all...
