Riley and the Avocado

One day when Parker and Riley and I were out at lunch with Kerry and Ella I decided to let Riley try some of the avocado from my salad. She ate almost a quarter of an avocado and seemed to really like it. So, we tried some more at home.

I had forgotten how messy it can be to feed babies. Riley likes to hold her own spoon while I feed her. 

Still not quite sure about the new texture...

Hmm, interesting...

See? Avocado.

So far we have tried avocado, oatmeal, and sweet potato. She seems to like them all about the same. 

But Riley's interest in solid food comes and goes by the day. So for now we just try it out when she is in a good mood.
