The Corvallis Girls are Together Again!

May brought with it a plethora of friends from far and wide. We started off the month with a visit from my college roommates Celeste and Kim and Kim's hubby Gary. They were only in town for a long weekend, so we had to be sure to get as much done as possible!
We started off their first full day with a trip to the Capitol.

After Ben took us on his fabulous tour of the Capitol - which included a trip on the Congressional Floor, we headed over to Good Stuff Burgers. So delicious and a must-stop for visitors!

The next day we walked around to our favorite Monuments/Memorials. All the way from the Washington Monument to Lincoln and back.

















We were all ready for lunch by the time we made it to our favorite little place by the American History Museum. I was especially ready since I had been carrying Riley and so was Kim, who is carrying her own bundle of joy.

Celeste and Riley spent some time bonding before the food came. She is such a hard baby to get along with.













Parker was rewarded at the end of lunch with a special ice cream treat. His two "aunts" were sure to guarantee he got every last drop.

After lunch we went to our favorite museum - The American History Museum. We didn't see even a fraction, but were able to show Gary, Kim, and Celeste our favorite parts.











On Sunday Celeste had to take an early flight back to Portland, but Gary and Kim were on an evening flight back to Missouri, so we took the morning to head to Arlington. It is always so wonderful to visit with friends. (Yes, Parker is photo-bombing them)

It was such a great time with wonderful friends! I can't wait to do it again - maybe once we get closer to the arrival of Baby Post!
