They had decorated the inside of the Roundhouse with all sorts of Thomas stuff...The kid play area was stocked with Thomas trains for the kids to chug on the train tables, they had storytime with Thomas books, and Thomas movies playing in a corner.
Outside we got our first glimpse of our buddy Thomas. And some random child thought Ben was their father too. He photo-bombed us.
Outside they had a ton of Thomas activities. Parker got two Thomas tattoos, Diesel 10 and Thomas of course.
They had a big bouncy house/obstacle course - Parker went in 4 times, it was hilarious.
All the rides outside were free for the day. We had never done the rides before so it was a special treat. This one spins the big pistons. The little girl who rode with Parker thought he was fantastic.
We spent some time coloring some Thomas pages, but quickly got bored with so much other fun stuff to do.
We had brought some lunch, but of course they also had concessions with Chicken strips for Parker.
Choo Choo Blue, the B&O Mascot was there to visit too. Parker still isn't sure about large characters, but he gave CCB a high five.
We planned our day so that the train ride was the last thing we did. It was perfect timing because with all the excitement of the activities the train ride gave us a great excuse to leave the other areas of the museum before meltdown could have happened.
Saying hi to the driver - although Parker was wondering why Thomas wasn't talking...
Ready for the train to get moving! During the ride they played some of Parker's favorite Thomas songs and told some Thomas stories.
All done! Last photo with Thomas before we head home. Parker fell asleep before we had even left the parking lot - with his new "Day Out With Thomas" train in his hand, ready to play as soon as we got home.
