Uncle Jim supporting his best buddy as he gets ready to marry his beautiful bride...
There was something about give and take and drawing a circle in the grass...didn't catch it all, but it was a beautiful wedding and most important, it made Mr. & Mrs. Sean Preston official!
Sean and Dana had their wedding and reception at Dana's grandmother's vineyard outside of Medford. It was a gorgeous and intimate setting. Best of all, Parker was able to run around almost the entire time. He ran up and down some rows of grapes and all around the reception site...he couldn't even stay still for a photo!
Parker even found some lovely young ladies to spend some time with on the dance floor as dinner was being served.
However, Parker quickly spotted the wedding cake, and thanks to a good save by Uncle Jim it did not actually end up with a 3 year old's finger swipe in it. Whoosh!
Riley got to spend some time with Uncle Jim...
And even got a dance in.
Sean and Dana had a beautiful "first dance" together.
It was getting late and baby girls were getting tired, but a paci and a Pa Lar make everything better.Parker finally did get his cake, and thought it was tasty!
When we told Parker where we were going and explained what a wedding was he asked "Can I dance with the pretty girls?" So he asked the prettiest girl in the room to dance with him, and she obliged...Thanks Dana!
Since Riley and Uncle Jim have birthdays that are only two weeks apart we decided our last night in Oregon was the perfect opportunity for a joint birthday party! We found out that it was also almost Sandy's birthday, so it worked out perfect! Parker helped Mommy make some special birthday cupcakes.
Singing Happy Birthday...
Big brother helping blow out the candles.
She wasn't sure at first what all this cake action was about...
But like most babies, once she learned it was smashable she was all for it.
REALLY smashable. After cupcakes we went straight to the bathtub.
The big kids were also happy to get in on the cupcake action, and they got ice cream too! It was the perfect way to end a great trip to Oregon.
