On the third day of Thankfulness I would like to give thanks for amazing friends and family!
A few weeks before Baby Riley's arrival my friends Heather and Andrea took me out for a special Mommy day. That day they presented me with a gift bag and told me not to open it until Ma Pat arrived closer to Riley's arrival.
When I opened the box I found that it contained an overwhelming amount of giftcards from our friends and family to help make things - like dinner and coffee - a lot easier after the baby's arrival...
And many of my amazing friends also included a little note or card to go along with their gift. It was an overwhelming outpouring of love from our friends.
I had to include the note from Grandma Bosworth - telling me to go and get some ice cream once the new baby arrived - it was so appropriate because 10 years ago when she learned that Ben took me to ice cream for one of our first dates, she told me he was a keeper!
I still can't believe how many people contributed to this very special gift. As we work our way though some of the gift cards I am thankful each day for such amazing people in our lives.
