On the way there Parker insisted his is a big boy and he will walk and not ride to the library.
We found lots of great leaves to walk through on the way there. Mommy won't let him walk through the big piles because they are so dirty, but the little piles are ok.
There were only two other kids at storytime and they were pretty little. But Parker was really excited to have Mr. Marco read the books to him and teach the kids about Fall and leaves. After each book Parker asked him to read another one - Mr. Marco was very impressed with Parker's excitment about books and reading!
After storytime we went down to the kid area of the library. It is a pretty big room with all the kids books and even some puzzles!
And they even have a computer just for kids with some cool games to play. There is a time limit (yay!) so Parker was allowed to play while Riley had a quick snack.
And on our way home we saw some men working with a tree chipper machine. Parker was so excited to see it work and watch the branches go in. He is so facinated with all sorts of machinery right now so he thought it was really cool to sit and watch for a bit.
Time at the library is a lot of work. Parker came hom and took a nap, but even after naptime he was not quite ready to wake up. H decided to lay on the couch with baby sister for a little bit and watch a little bit of Parker TV (Little Einsteins). I just love the butt-to-butt photo!
