After breakfast with the Wadehra's we went over to the New Jersey Aqaurium.
Eve was a smart girl and fell asleep on the way there - so she spent the first little bit in the buggie napping...
Riley got to ride with Mommy in the front pack...
We arrived just in time for the Scuba Santa show...all the seats were taken but the boys got to view the show with their Daddy.
After the show the boys took some time to drive Santa's sleigh...
Then it was time to go wait in line to visit with Scuba Santa, Parker thought it would be quicker to just go under the chain.
But Scuba Santa spied him and convinved him to wait his turn.
The boys both got to tell Scuba Santa what they wanted for Christmas.
Parker wasn't sure if he was more interested in Scuba Santa or his popcorn...
One of Scuba Santa's shark friends was also there to dance with the kids. Parker gave him "five" but was not interested in dancing with him or taking a picture - still not sure about big character friends.
Rudolf was also allowed to leave the North Pole to spend some time at the Aquarium! When you wave at him he will wave back with his ears and the boys were also able to ask Rudolf some yes or no questions that he would answer by shaking his head...Of course the adults were thinking of how amusing it would be to ask Rudolf non-kid friendly questions, but of course our sense of responsibilty prevailed...
Checking out the fish with the daddies.
Driving the boat in the kid play area.
Bubblehead with Daddy...so cool!
Cole came to join in the fun.
Touching scaly stingray.
Blue Lobster.
When Eve woke up she let Riley take over her buggy. Riley thought it was a pretty good deal.
They even have hippos at the aquarium! They are HUGE! It was so incredible to see them swim by the glass.
Riley checking out the sharks in the shark tunnel - she was staring at it forever, totally entranced.
Parker checking on Riley and talking to her about the sharks.
Boys and sharks...
After the awesome time at the aquarium we went back to the Wadehra house. Parker and Cole got to have some more play time before dinner. Parker checked out Cole's toys..."hmm, a lot of these look like toys I have"...yes, they do Parker.
No nap and a HUGE playday, can you tell the boys are a little tired?
After dinner and a bath the kids were all back in pjs. The Culvers loaded up in our car and headed back down to DC - after a quick stop at Starbucks for road fule. It was a great day and we are so glad to have had the opportunity to spend time with our friends during the holidays.
