On Tuesday we went to Ella's for a playdate. She has some of the little legos and they got to build some stuff. Her Mommy is a lot braver than I am, it will be a while before Parker gets to give up the duplos for little legos.
We went to the commissary and the lady in the produce section gave Parker a banana to eat. He was so happy that he ate the whole thing and then asked if we could go find the "banana lady" again. We did and she gave him another one! He does love bananas!
On Wednesday we had to take Baby Sister to the doctor and to get shots. Riley was her wonderful self and Parker was an awesome big brother. Thanks to an idea shared from Aunt Heather I take the diecast trains that don't fit on our at home track and keep them in the diaper bag to pull out at opportune moments. Waiting for vacinations turned out to be the perfect opportunity!
And one of Daddy's friends from school was promoted to Major in a ceremony at the Pentagon on Wednesday afternoon! So, we headed to the Pentagon and the trains came in handy again when Parker and Richie were waiting for the ceremony to begin. Bag full of trains=entertained little boys!
